PIANO LESSONS
I offer piano lessons with a flexible and creative approach, tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning style.
Whether you are just starting out, developing your skills at an intermediate level, or pursuing advanced studies, lessons are adapted to meet you where you are. I can help you prepare for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams, festivals, competitions, or simply develop your skills and enjoy making music.
Whatever your goals, my aim is to help you grow as a musician while building confidence, creativity, and a lasting love for music.
MUSIC THEORY
I believe music theory comes to life when we connect it with sound. My approach is to transform theoretical concepts into music through practical experimentation at the keyboard.
I am committed to providing students with a solid foundation and a deeper understanding of music. Music theory helps us read and understand a score, analyze the music we hear, and develop the tools needed to compose and arrange music.
Through a practical and creative approach, students learn not only what the music is, but also why it works and how they can use that knowledge in their own musical expression.
COMPOSITION & CREATIVITY
I believe we can all be creative in some area of our lives. Music gives us a wonderful opportunity to explore and express that creativity.
In my composition lessons, students learn how to create their own arrangements and compositions at the piano. Whether you are experimenting with your first musical ideas or developing more advanced compositions, I provide the tools and guidance to help you bring your ideas to life.
Through music, we explore creativity, imagination, and personal expression—helping each student discover their own musical voice.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
I offer in-person recitals twice a year, giving students the opportunity to share their progress, celebrate their achievements, and experience the joy of performing for family and friends.
Each recital is recorded, and families receive a keepsake video to look back on and enjoy for years to come.
These special occasions are a wonderful way to celebrate each student’s musical journey and create meaningful memories together.
